Position Title Brand Manager/Associate Director College Relations & Marketing
Job Duties

The Brand Manager/Associate Director College Relations & Marketing works collaboratively with and reports to the Director of Marketing and College Relations to promote college strategy, including defining the market, stakeholders and scope of programming. The Brand Manager/Associate Director College Relations & Marketing executes marketing plans and promotions for the purpose of increasing awareness, generating enrollment and branding the college. The Associate Director engages with vendors to produce advertising and publications.

Required knowledge and skills

Experience with planning, implementing and evaluating effective marketing campaigns, to increase awareness of the college and enrollment. Ability to conduct and analyze marketing research. Ability to communicate through strong writing and verbal skills. Ability to create and distribute various advertising and public relations materials in targeted and effective ways. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to support and implement the marketing process, including strategic planning, budget and project management, creative and conceptual design and overall coordination. Demonstrated understanding and articulation of college mission, vision, and strategic priorities. Knowledge to include graphic design layout and production.

Required experience

Proven experience in a marketing environment; experience in higher education preferred. Administrative/ supervisory experience. Writing for advertising and/or public relations. Marketing experience, including advertising and public relations. Two to five years’ experience in graphic design (including the latest versions of Adobe Design Suite, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Acrobat). Experience in web design and updating web pages via content Management System (CMS) preferred. Knowledge of graphic production/ prepress processes. Experience planning and managing an annual budget.

Required educational background

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design preferred. Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing, Public Relations or related field considered based on demonstrated graphic design experience.
Master’s degree preferred.
